Loyal Security

We were approached by Loyal Security to build a bespoke e-commerce website. Having worked from a physical shop for many years, Loyal had never had an online presence at all. So we had to completely work from scratch to design and build an easy to use online store for their trade and consumer customers. We also needed to integrate their Square till system into the website for stock control and payments.

We started by designing a flat mockup concept of how the site should look and function, we had to ensure the site had minimal clicks to purchase a product, we utilised a promo slider and best selling product sections on the homepage to allow potential customers to buy quickly. We then built this up in WordPress and WooCommerce, this included adding approximately 1500+ products to the site.

One of the main requirements was to have a trade account functionality. We setup a trade system within the website where users can apply for an account and get approved by Loyal to then get access to special pricing. Without a login prices are hidden.

We also needed to ensure the website is perfectly in sync with Loyal’s Square payment tills, we setup this integration to sync both stock and orders between the site and the physical shop tills. We also utilised Square’s payment gateway for online payments.

The finished site is a beautifully simple but very functional online store which puts Loyal Security in the best place for the next phase of their growth online. The site is easy to use for Loyal to add new products and add content. We recorded an extensive library of tutorial videos demonstrating site functionality so Loyal can be confident knowing how to make changes on their own.

We also provided Loyal with their own dedicated server to host the website for best performance but also the flexibility to scale up when demand increases. We look after the website on one of our monthly care retainers ensuring the site always stays up to date and secure.
